Woodlands is a quiet, modern and tastefully appointed Guest House B&B, set in extensive and attractively maintained gardens close to the shores of Loch Ness, yet only a 25 minutes drive from Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Traditionally and thoughtfully furnished to provide our guests with a genuine 'home from home', our guest rooms are named after Scottish West Coast Islands to reflect the peace and tranquility that Woodlands affords its guests. With one exception, all of our bedrooms overlook Woodlands' large and attractive rear garden and the River Coiltie beyond. Most rooms have en suite facilities. Each has a built-in cupboard and are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, colour television, DVD player and clock radio alarm.
The Skye room is a large suite with its own lounge which can accommodate a family of 2 adults and 1 child sharing. The Skye and Iona rooms each have a comfortable two-seater sofa, coffee table and
refrigerator.

The Rum and Mull rooms together provide an extra option which is popular with our guests. As they are the only rooms located off a first floor corridor which is separated by a fire door from the rest of the house, they can be combined to create a self-contained and private area - an ideal situation for 2 couples who wish to holiday together.
The Iona room has facilities for the disabled. This large ground floor twin/super king sized bedroom has en-suite shower facilities designed to suit all levels of physical ability.

We have a range of breakfast options and whenever possible, we endeavour to utilise fresh local produce with meat products being supplied by local award winning and family run butchers. We can also provide packed lunches and guests have access to wireless internet and limited free telephone facilities. We are happy to provide storage in our large garage and storerooms and can help with reservations at a golf course of your choice, fishing permits, horse riding, excursion and sightseeing bookings, as well as restaurant and taxi reservations.
Liz extends the warmest of welcomes to guests, and aims to provide a friendly, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy a stay amongst the beauty and romance of the loch, the Great Glen Way and the Scottish Highlands. Prices from: £25 per person per night
