Situated just off the M9 in Bridge of Allan, our guest house is within walking distance from the University of Stirling. Bridge of Allan is a picturesque and historic village, located about 3 miles from Stirling and within walking distance of many attractions such as the William Wallace monument that shadows the University. The Walmer has been a hotel in Bridge of Allan for over 50 years. Now unlicenced, we are close to Bridge of Allan railway station and can offer with notice a free shuttle service. Our large and secured car park can accomodate 30 cars or any sizs of bus. We are also well serviced for local buses with a stop just outside the front door. A taxi ride to Stirling centre will cost approx. £ 6.00

Our family has owned and managed for the last 15 years one of the busiest and best renowed restaurants in the area within the old hotel. Now following the expansion of the restaurant, we have moved it to a new outstanding setting on top of the village of Bridge of Allan, amongst secular woodland and glamorous Victorian houses. If our guests wish to eat at our restaurant we can offer a shuttle service, but the restaurant is only a few hundred yards from Walmer Guest House.
