Just one mile from the centre of the Border town of Peebles,our working hill farm provides bed and breakfast within a modern bungalow amidst beautiful scenery and with numerous unspoilt walks. Only 500 metres from the A703 Edinburgh Road, Venlaw Farm keeps beef cattle, a few Highland Cattle and our own free range hens. There is an abundance of wildlife, including deer, foxes, rabbits, squirrels and a variety of birds, as well as many walks through the surrounding fields and forestry. We have two double en suite bedrooms and one standard twin room. Each room has TV, hairdryer, tea/ coffee making facilities and central heating . There is a large lounge which has a log burning fire for cooler days. Breakfast is taken in a large dining room, with a full Scottish breakfast available. We cater for all tastes including special diets. The premises are non smoking and we do not allow pets within the house.

Car parking is safe with no passing traffic. Edinburgh is only 23 miles from the house and takes about 30 minutes by car. There is also a half hourly bus sevice to Edinburgh.

Peebles is full of historic interest with many pubs and restaurants, a golf course, swimming pool, and leisure centre. Glentress Forest and the Red Bull Elibank Forest trail system, at Innerleithen provide mountain biking opportunities. For bird enthusiasts there is the Tweed Valley Forest Park and Dawyck Botanic Garden has a stunning collection of trees and shrubs. The River Tweed, which is famous worldwide for salmon and trout fishing, runs through the beautiful Scottish Borders.
