On Kintyre's east coast, just 12 miles north of Campbeltown, Torrisdale Castle Estate extends to around 1500 acres, with fabulous views across the Kilbrannan Sound to the island of Arran. Within these magnificent wooded grounds are our five cottages, while three apartments occupy the ground floor of the 19th Century castle itself. Prices available on request
The three spacious Torrisdale Castle apartments each sleep between 4 and 6 persons. All of the apartments look out over the lawns to beautiful sea views. Heating is included in the rent, and domestic electricity is charged by meter reading. All have bathrooms with bath and shower.

We have five individual cottages, sleeping between 2 and 10 persons. All are well equipped with their own garden. All have open fires and logs are provided without charge. Electricity is by £1 slot meter and heating is charged by meter reading. Pictured below are South Lodge and Lephincorrach.
Bed linen is provided but towels are extra. All properties have equipped kitchens. High chairs and cots are available, but please bring your own cot bedding. Communal laundry facilities available.

Torrisdale Estate is an ideal base from which to absorb the glorious scenery, nature and wildlife of the Kintyre peninsula. Explore the many trails on the estate, taking in the Arran views, looking out for deer and eagles, seabirds or seals basking on the rocks. Meanwhile, the attractive fishing village of Carradale, located approximately 2 miles to the north, offers a variety of restaurants, bars and hotels to enjoy a meal, snack with typically warm Scottish hospitality.
