Situated in the village of Newtonmore, part of the Cairngorm National Park, our self catering cottage provides an ideal base from which to explore the Cairngorms. Newtonmore is only 2 miles off the main A9 road which runs north through Scotland, and is also on the junction with the A86 road, leading West towards Ben Nevis and Fort William. One of a group of houses providing self catering accommodation, the cottage sleeps up to 4 persons and our bookings are normally from Saturday to Saturday. Prices from: £295 per week
Steading 4 is a fully furnished cottage with 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs the cottage has a kitchen and living room, equipped with 2 sofas, dining table and chairs, TV, DVD and video players. A sofa bed provides an extra double bed if required. Prices include all heating and electricity. Dogs are permitted by arrangement with no access to the bedrooms. A cot, a high chair and cot linen can be supplied for a small additional fee.

Located 15 miles from Aviemore, activities in the Newtonmore area range from skiing and climbing to sailing and canoeing. There are local restaurants and amazing scenery to enjoy, in particular, from the funicular railway to the summit of Cairngorm. You can also arrange a flight in a glider, enabling you to see the Cairngorms from the air, or visit the famous reindeer herd. Guided walks are easily organised, with the nearby Insh Marshes one of the most important wetlands in Europe.
