Jeff and Jane Darby would like to welcome you to their West Highland home to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Glen Feochan. The cottage has expansive views over the glen to the front and views up to the hillside behind, where there is easy access for walking. Situated just 4.5 miles south of Oban with its ferry links to the Islands, Sheep Fank Cottage is is convenient for discovering the area's magnificent scenery and rich history. We let two bedrooms and there is a choice. Two are large en-suite rooms, including one room which can accommodate a family of 4. These rooms have all the facilities you would expect from 4 star accommodation, including king size beds. We also have a twin bedroom with private bathroom. All rooms have comfortable seating, flat-screen TV/DVD, a well stocked hospitality tray, dressing table with hair dryer and access to books, games and a small library of DVDs.

Choose from a breakfast menu which uses locally sourced ingredients wherever available. Your choice of breakfast is served in a welcoming dining room. Light evening meal/snack and packed lunches are available by arrangement. There is seating in the garden overlooking the Glen and guests are welcome to spend time there enjoying the tranquility of the area.

Ample off road parking. Free Wi-fi. Secure storage and drying facilities. Please note that we are a non smoking establishment with no wheelchair access. Sorry, we do not accept pets.

The cottage is sited beside the old drovers road that began on the Islands and then led up Glen Feochan, eventually leading to Loch Awe and beyond. We can share maps of the area with you and discuss your options for a day's activity. Oban has a range of shops and restaurants as well as a renowned golf club, cinema, swimming pool, health clubs and a world famous distillery.
