Overlooking Loch Ryan and with a shingle beach just 20 yards away, Rhins of Galloway has an enviable location with superb views in every direction. It is ideally situated on the coastal A77 for the ferry services which run from Cairnryan to Larne (P&O), and from Stranraer to Belfast (Stena Line), being just a short drive to both. We have en-suite single, double, and superior double rooms, and also a suite with double bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. Each bedroom has double glazing, controllable heating, TV with digital TV & radio channels, hospitality tray, armchairs or a sofa, dressing table/work desk and chair, and scenic views either to the surrounding hills and farmland or to the loch. Bathrooms are fully-tiled with modern fitments, high pressure shower/showerbath and complimentary toiletries.

All rooms are located on the ground floor (there are steps to reach the building entrance).The entire building is strictly non-smoking, and we are unable to accommodate babies and children, or pets in any of the rooms.
We are not licensed, and you are welcome to enjoy your own purchases. We have a guest lounge and large gardens to relax in, as well as the south-west facing covered veranda - ideal for sitting and watching the ferries, sailing and fishing boats drift by on the loch.

Breakfast is served in the large and bright dining room, overlooking the docking ferries. All food is high quality, freshly cooked and served to order. For departures prior to 07:30, we can provide a ‘breakfast to go' bag, if advised in advance. Although we have a limited snack menu available until 8pm, we do not provide evening meals. We can recommend a number of licensed restaurants and eating places in both Stranraer and Cairnryan.
