The hospitality of their owners, it was difficult to find where exactly was the guest house and they came to Stonehaven to collect us. Also it's placed in a beatiful site and the room was really nice. The breakfast was great, as well.
Location
The location is great, with the cliffs of Arbroath very close to it, and the village of Stonehaven is really nice.

Great welcome,a lovely room, warm but airy and very comfortable bed with a great beautifully cooked full breakfast. My dogs were more than welcomed and despite being near busy roads all facilities were quiet and secluded.
Location
I was on business but managed a quick look at Stonehaven and wished that I had more time to walk round the Harbour and see the Castle. Hopefully I will be back with more timeon my hands!

It was a nice clean room. An excellent value for us 3 travellers. We received a warm welcome. It was nice to have a separte entrance to the accomidations and a sitting area where we could meet other travellers. We did not feel that we were keeping Aileen up. It was very relaxed and homey. We were all in our pajamas in the living room. The excersice facilities were a nice touch. Breakfast was great made to order!
Location
The town of Stonehaven is so close, as well as Dunnotter Castle. This Castle is not covered by the Heritage pass which we found out when we hiked down the hill and up the other side to the ticket booth. Still worth the stop though. If you continue past the castle and the memorial the road narrows to a one way to town. A beautiful view of the harbour. WOW!! We met a local "Jim" taking a wee rest. He shared some history with us and the story of the Honors of Scotland, which added to the view and fond memories of the area. Thank you
