We were delighted with our 2 days at Woodside and would have been happy to stay longer if time had permitted. The hostess was delightful, accommodation very comfortable, great breakfasts, helpful advice on what to do. All in all, would definitely stay again if we manage to make it to Scotland again. Our hostess was very nice and provided us with a neat and clean room. Breakfast was great both days we were there.

Location

The location was a great starter place for many exciting sights. There even was a very nice park in walking distance. The people in the neighborhood were very friendly and helped with directions. I am an early riser, and the people walking their dogs stopped and talked to me.

This modern house set in a quiet roadway was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. The welcome was cordial and attentive. Our bedroom was excellent and lacked nothing of what we would have expected. We particularly liked the design of the washroom, certainly a well-equipped model of convenience. The beds were very clean and comfortable. We had little time for an early cooked breakfast due to attending a conference further north, but the light breakfast we managed gave promise of an excellent meal missed. Certainly a place to return to on a visit to Ballater.

Location

As a former Ballater resident, it was nice to return for a short visit.

A wonderful place !!!!!! Lovely people. Heavenly scenery, we come back time and time again.Love it love it love it.
