Really warm atmosphere and bedroom. Nice breakfast and friendly hospitality. Just one think to be improved. The basin shower is too small, so for us it was a bit difficult to have a shower there.

Only able to stay one night but on arrival the room was presented very well, very clean, tidy only 1 chair to sit in though in the bedroom.

The room was of a good standard, the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. John & Lesley were extremely welcoming hosts with plenty of very good recommendations for places to visit in respect of stunning scenery & places to eat, we would not hesitate to go back!

There really cannot be a better bed and breakfast house. You are assured of a most warm welcome into a family home that provides the guest with every comfort at exceptionally reasonable rates. An added bonus is that there is no television in the rooms - no danger of other guests leaving the tv on all night at ear-splitting volumes. Sadly my husband, who is recovering from cancer, was very ill but we were not disturbed and not told to leave the room at a fixed non-negotiable hour. I cannot fault the hosts, John and Lesley, in any way and would most certainly recommend their house to others.

Location

As a location it surely cannot be bettered. Hill walking, cycling, sightseeing - you name it, it is catered for. It is also a delightful location to just sit and do nothing!
