The standard of the accommodation was excelent and we had a lovely time. Nan and Alec could'nt do enough to make our stay there perfect.

Standard of accommodation was excellent and very clean. Nan and Alex couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome during our short stay. The house is a bit of a walk to the main street of Balloch but there is a route through the park which makes a very pleasant walk if the weather's kind.
Location
This was our first visit to Balloch and it was a pleasant surprise. During the day there are many activities such as walks, cycling, canoe hire etc. We can recommend a cycle ride to Luss 16 miles round trip along a fairly flat track on the western side of Loch Lomond - take a picnic and have it on the side of the Loch.
At night, Balloch has several nice pubs and a couple of restaurants (Italian and Chinese)- enough variety for a 2 or 3 night stay.
