not the slightest reason to critisize. we were well received; we found an absolute clean and comfortable room with a spectacular panoramic view; the fireplace room was undescribably cosy.
Location
there was only time to explore the adjacencies.

Là, le meilleur, The best. Une vue magnifique, un couché de soleil à voir, un levé aussi. Des hôtes vraiment accueillants, une belle maison. Notre seul regret, nous n'y avons passé qu'une seule nuit.
Location
Pas très loin, se trouve les Benmore garden. Si vous êtes fan, prévoir 1 journée complète pour la visite, car c'est immense et comme ça vous pourrez rester 2 nuits à Thistle House.

The best B&B we have been to. Large comfortable bedroom with sofa and large visitor louuge with TV, DVDs, books, maps, guides etc. Good choice of breakfast options and freshly cooked. Alistair and Jenifer were friendly, welcoming and very helpful - nothing was too much trouble

Attention to detail in every aspect, quality of fittings and friendly, non-intrusive manner. Of course, the breakfast was excellent as well. With St Catherine's proved a little hard to find, this place made it well worth the effort.
Location
The referral for dinner to a nearby eatery, called Creggins, in Strachur proved to be first class as well - an excellent spot with good food an a relaxed atmosphere.

The accommodation was clean and decorated to a high standard with fantastic views over-looking Loch Fyne. The hospitality and friendliness of the owners were exceptional and we would defintely return to the Thistle Guest House.
Location
Loch Fyne and surounding area offered good dining (see Loch Fyne restaurant) and out-door activities.

Superb accommodation, fantastic hosts, stunning location.
Location
Loch Lomond Ramblers Cruise-dropped off at on point near Ben Lomond, then walk eight miles & ferry picks you up from Inversnaid! Superb scenery & excellent day out!
Also visited Oban & Isle of Bute-great days out too.
Cottage Restaurant also served great food & in a great location.

Warm welcome with tea and scones and a fire much appreciated on a wet afternoon.
Tasteful furnishings.Excellent breakfast.
Location
Only a one night stay so didn't use the locality however very conveniently placed for Inverary with plenty of shops etc
