The Guest House was really nice. It has a beautiful location, nicely decorated, clean and tidy and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Location

The location on Loch Fyne is ideal for visiting the Cowal Peninsula with Kyles of Bute being of special interest for us.

The Thistle was everything it promised. 4 star luxury in a B&B setting. The hosts were fabulous and very helpful along with being very lovely people. The breakfasts were great and we were offered more toast and tea/coffee if we needed it. I honestly couldn't fault our experience and look forward to visiting again.

Location

We visited the Inverary Castle and the guides there were fabulous. A lady guide really informed us of the castles history as it wasn't evident in writing in the castle.

The new owners are great - very helpful, enthusiastic, catered to all our needs. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and nicely decorated. The view is breath taking - across the loch towards the castle and town of Inveraray. The breakfast was the best we've every had at a B&B. Fresh fruit salad, eggs cooked to order, toast, organic yogurt, lots of juices, etc. Wonderful way to start the day!

Location

Wait and ask the owners for a recommendation for a place to go for dinner. We didn't and ate in Inveraray and were quite disappointed with our meal. When we got to the B&B, a restaurant was suggested to us and we went there for dessert. It was wonderful! We saw some of the meals and talked to others who had dinner and the food was outstanding. We had the best sticky toffee pudding and bonafee pie every! It's about a 20 minute drive but well worth the trip!

Room was the same standard as a five star hotel with fantastic bedding and room presentation. Great welcome from the owners. Really felt at home yet with the luxuries one would want when on holiday. The best B and B we stayed at out of 6 in Scotland and more four star than the four star hotels we stayed at. Awesome value for money.

Location

The Loch Fyne restaurant ten minutes away is excellent value and the nest fish we have eaten for a very long time. The setting on Loch Fyne is splendid.

The room was GREAT!!! even we got the best one to we selected previously due some cancellation. Ivonne was an excellent person. Hospitality: you always wanted stay there forever!!!!. Facilities: despite of the best is to have a car, you can wait for some of the only three buses passing by this site during the day (it's a shame) Food: good taste and the music sounding whilst you are in the dinner room match perfectly with the place and the landscape!!!

We were because Connect Festival consecuently music and some bands was our target, obviously our choise was made because the place in connection with relax, music and Scotland
