Room was very comfortable and hospitality very good. Food also was of high standard - reception on arrival was very helpful however on leaving I had nowhere to leave key except with kitchen staff.
Location
We were visiting specifically for the Tattoo and the location was very convenient.

I booked this accommodation last year, but was disappointed when we ended up getting what was probably the worse room in the house--the room in the basement under the entrance stairway. When I looked out the window I saw the underside of the stairs and no light could get into the room--very depressing. I was also disappointed there wasn't a lounge to sit in. The breakfast room was wonderful and the food very good. The staff were very helpful and the location was great. The room was VERY small but nicely decorated and very clean. The car park was a big plus!
Location
It is located on a wonderful street, a little bit noisy but not a problem in my opinion. Many good restaurants within walking distance and the Castle, Princes Street Park, museums not far and walking distance if you like to walk.

Very good value for money. VERY friendly staff, very good breakfast. A very long and steep hill to town, we took a taxi. Our room were very nice. We would come backe for sure
If you are 3 persons like us take a taxi from the airport, lots better then the bus.

Very spacious room, comfortable stay. Traditional organic cooked breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would say this is good value for money at GBP 32.5 per head per night. The only negative feedback was the fact that they failed to pay attention to the fact that the TV remote had its battery missing (we had to be indoors for more time than planned due to weather).
Location
Selected this accommodation primarily due to its location. Walking distance from Princess street and closeness to Haymarket train station were certainly helpful for us.

Was very good for the value. Food was plentiful. Water pressure wasn't great. The hill up to Princes Street is quiet a climb but totally doable. I'd stay again.
Location
The Castle is definitely worth the visit. Go before 1 so you can be there to hear/see the one o'clock gun. Another definite is walking up Arthur's seat. There are many paths; if you are an outdoors person this is a must, the views are beautiful.
