This is basic, 'no frills' accommodation. The room was fine and perfectly comfortable but nothing fancy. Only problem was it was far too hot up in the eaves of the building on a summer night - a fan in the room would have been helpful. Breakfast was very good, reception staff were very friendly and it was ok value for money. Perhaps reception staff should offer to carry bags upstairs for those staying on the top floor?
Location
Glasgow is my favourite city! Fantastic for shopping, great museums and wonderful countryside on the doorstep. If you've never been to Glasgow, go - and if you have been, it's time to go again!

Room is spacious, it is really value for money. Food is excellent and abundant. If I ever come to Glasgow again I'll definitely stay here.

The accommodation is in the vicinity of the main shopping street and quite close to all tourist attractions.

very good value for money, including a lovely breakfast, comfortable room and really helpful staff. Super close to the high streets and some nice cafes. Would have been nice to get a bit of a directory of places to see that the hotel reccomends.

We are students from Australia, so we checked out a fair few student haunts, pubs and live gigs etc, theres great some really cool places just nearby. Also went to a gallery or two, and the House for an Art Lover.

We stayed at the Victorian for three nights. Location was excellent, because it was close to the city centre and we had a good night sleep. Room was small, but okay, bathroom and bed were clean, but curtains and bedcover should have been washed. However, breakfast wasn´t good.
