The location is very strategic. From Waverley station, there are numerous buses that go to this BnB.

Room is small but clean. However, the towels are very coarse.

From Thistle, we could walk to Holyrood Park. The walk is rather pleasant.

I wasn't provided with a towel until about day four of my stay. The staff seemed rude and un-welcoming as if put out by my presence.

The room was very clean and we experienced no problem with the gentleman running it he was most helpful. However there are a couple of things which could improve. The rooms need a shelf in either the bedroom or shower room as there was no where to put toiletries etc. Shower room was very small and not easy to use. The dining room was not big enough to accommodate everyone at breakfast time if hotel is full and we had to wait 15 mins. This was no huge problem just a bit silly. I imagine this only happens at festival time but they could consider laying a couple of extra tables up in the sitting room (is there one?) to accommodate the extra people.

Location

We had no problem with the location as the bus service in Edinburgh is so good and it is quieter than being in the centre.

value for money and hospitality were outstanding. the heating worked very well (very important during snow chaos), the room hat a comfortable size and was nicely decorated. breakfast was also really good.

every one were very friendly, the room was very warm and cousy, we spend there four days and felt there like home. Especially I would like to thank the landlord who was nice, warm and very helpfull. Very flexibile conditions to check in and leaving your luggage when you arrive and when you go away.

Location

all the places of interest are very well situated and you can easy reach them by bus.

Didn't receive a particularly warm welcome on our arrival, however staff more pleasant the following morning at breakfast. Room was clean and adequate for 1 night's stay. Breakfast basic.

Location

Nice location. Close to university.
