The accommodation was excellent value for money,the breakfast was one of the best I've eaten. The rating would have been outstanding had it not been for the fact that the rooms with sea views were not available; but we were aware of this before confirming our booking.
Location
Our trip on the ferry to Cumbrae and cycling round the island on hired bikes was the highlight of the trip.
Perhaps some information in the rooms or the lounge on local attractions,tourist facilities, and places worth visiting might prove useful to people who don't know the area.

This was a 100% living ! The room was exelent and the hospitality was really nice. Both the owner, her doughter and the horse.
This time we spent 14 days in Scotland and this was the best living, thank you!!
Location
Itīs a summertourist town. It was bank holliday so there was a little problem to find a place to eat.

Would definately reccomend the accommodation.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent too. A beautiful house presented in an excellent way. The owner and her son were very nice people and made us so very welcome. I would highly recommend The Old Rectory to anyone.
Location
Largs is a lovely place especially if you are looking for a seaside town that is not too busy, mind you, if you go during the winter months make sure you dine before 7pm as it can be difficult to find somewhere if you don't eat Indian or Chinese food.
