Warm, welcoming, homely enviroment. Felt very at home and free to come and go as we pleased. Room was basic but met our needs and always spotlessly clean.

Location

Were able to walk in to Fort William but it was a few miles! Short drive to Mallaig and Over the sea to Skye. The station is just across the road and the train leaves at 8.30 and 11.30. Lots of places to visit on train and in the car. Colloden is a must the Nessie Visitors centre disappointing.

Very good value for money, superb breakfast, good facilities, very hospitable hosts ( even when my brother woke the whole house up at midnight when he had forgotten his key ) and fairly conveniently situated on the outskirts of Fort William - a 4/5 mile walk or an £8 taxi.

Location

Visited Fort William to climb Ben Nevis which was great. Would recommend The Grog & Gruel in the centre for good food and beer. Also The Ben Nevis Inn at the bottom of the mountain is well worth a visit for good food ( superb fish and chips ), friendly staff ( bar one old dear who obviously hadn't been taught the finer skills of friendly, polite customer service ) and traditional scottish live music.

The Neuk Guest House was comortable, clean and room had everything one needed in B&B. The hostess was very accomodating and helpful.

We enjoyed a friendly host, quiet room with a good bed (important) and a good breakfast. We didn't know when booking that it was situated two train stops out of Fort William; although that wasn't a problem in the end.(One of our criteria for choosing rooms was that it was an easy walk to station. And it was, once we knew where to get off train !) But would recommend that directions for travellers by train be included in guests info package.
