Our rooms were most pleasant, the breakfast choice was delightful and the staff was extremely accomodating. Our primary concern was my personal error in not requesting a "lower floor" room for my elderly mother. However, I want to thank you so much for addressing her concerns as best you could and your extreme graciousness to us.
Location
Perfect setting across from the Botanic Gardens and easy access to the subway. Our personal delight was in the fact that it was within walking distance for our daughter!

Overall we enjoyed this hotel. It was difficult to find, however, as we didn't realize the street ran parallel to the main street. Parking was at a minimum but the owner kindly parked our car for us in the lot. We would also have benefitted from a telephone in the room. The value for money was excellent. We were treated with courtesy, breakfast was great. We would not hesitate to recommend the Kelvin to others.
Location
Everything we wanted was within walking distance so we were very pleased with the proximity of the hotel.

the room was very good, it was clean, bright, with a big bathroom, nice view but it was a litle bit cold. it had heating facilities but for me and my frieds that we come from a warm country it wasnt enough.people in the hotel were polite and the food was good and with satisfying variety.
Location
the hotel is not in the heart of the city but yoy can take a bus or a taxi to get there if you are more than three i think that taxis can be cheap too. near the hotel there is the botanical garden with a nice river underneath it that it worths visiting. the location is peacefyll but five minutes walk you can find restaurants, bars with live shows etc.visit also the center of glasgow, edinburg by bus or train and the highlands. there are daily tours you can choose that worth their money

I had a wonderful stay at the Kelvin Hotel. My single room was bright, clean and comfortable. The staff was most friendly and helpful. When I return to Glasgow, I intend to stay there again and would recommend it to my friends.
