We stayed in one of the Kelvin's apartments and we astonished by the value for money and amount of space in the accomodation. Beautiful high celings, huge kitchen/living area and very friendly and helpful staff.
This was out first visit to Glasgow and we loved the place - will definitely return and definitely stay in the Kelvin Hotel's apartment again!

Excellent location in the West End - great shops and restaurants just around the corner!

I was very pleased with the warmth and hospitality of the staff especially Linda who appeared to be the person in charge.The room was very comfortable, clean and warm...which was important as the temperatures were low at night.Even though I was only able to get a room without a toilet and bath, there were several available outside the room and these were very clean all the time.Breakfast was a full English meal and service was again excellent. They were always very willing to help and it is excellent value for money having stayed at many others in the past. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accomodation.
Location
The location is excellent for access to Glasgow University which is why I came, but the buses and tubes nearby made it very easy to get around the city. There are also several eating places,banks, supermarket,Boots pharmacy, post-office in walking distance.

Lovely, clean hotel and efficient staff. Our cooked breakfast wasn't good. Tinned tomatoes, overcooked poached eggs and low quality sausages.

In general, I was very happy with this hotel - very clean and good value for money. The only problem I had was with the breakfast, which was only ok, in particular the fact that they used tinned tomatoes that soaked into everything else on the plate.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff who made our stay even more pleasant.
Cosy and clean rooms.
Delicious breakfast.
Will definitely come back if ever I'm in Glasgow and will recommend it to my friends.
Location
Near to bus/train stops and the beautiful Botanical Gardens.
Near to Open Top Bus stop.
It was a chance to meet up with an old friend who managed to book the room next to ours.
Amongst other things we went to the Glasgow Film Theatre to watch "Sarah's Key" and then the Book club for something to eat.
Oh - and Tribeca for lunch - the toilets alone are worth a visit!

the room was clean, comfortable and chocolate biscuits on hospitality tray! Breakfast was fresh and hot. Very enjoyable stay.
Location
Would recommend this small hotel if you are visiting student offspring as I was.
