Visitor Reviews of The Kelvingrove Hotel - Overall Rating 4.1

Room was cramped, and the mattress was a bit lumpy. However, on a positive note, the hotel was well-situated right on the tour bus route, and within close walking distance of the Kelvingrove Art Musuem (which was fantastic!) and within easy walking distance of city centre. The free Internet access in the lobby was also very convenient.

I really felt welcomed! From the first contact through internet until my homegoing.
The breakfast was excellent and the service outstanding. The standard of the room was excellent and the bed - I slept very well.
All the flowers also made the hotel look very nice and well taken care of.
I really enjoyed my stay at The Kelvingrove Hotel.
Location
Across the street I found a place with Scottish mealīs and there was several Pubīs nearby.I walked to Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens and to Oran Mor. And along Byres Road there were many small shops to visit. A Glasgow tour by bus was very nice. It gave me a good view of the city and I could hop off and on.I also went on a 1 day tour to Loch Lomond. Not only did I learn about The Loch but also about Glasgow and Scotland thanks to a wellspoken guide. Everyone that I have meet during my stay in Glasgow has been very friendly. Hope to come back.
