Rooms comfortable, inviting and spotless...and their location off the canal very peaceful. Our hosts were hospitable and helpful and prepared a lovely breakfast served in their charming conservatory room overlooking the river.
Location
Location is central to so many interesting places of interest. We were just sorry we only had 1 night in this excellent establishment.

The location was lovely, the hosts very welcoming and accommodating, the extra touches in the room much appreciated, the breakfast delicious, and the room clean and inviting.
Location
The town is perfectly located (right on the Great Glen Way) and has plenty of interests for tourists.

Very friendly owners, great breakfast, helpful and stopped for a chat....very homely and ideal location with great views from breakfast room over the river.

Very nice location, with breakfast in wonderful veranda on garden and river, friendly hospitality, rich breakfast, large and confortable room and bathroom.
Location
The Holt B & B is just 100 or so metres away from the Loch Ness...which was one of the reasons to choose Fort Augustus as our "operational base". Very convenient also for daily trips to Inverness, Skye and Mallaig. Fort Augustus itself is very nice and offers good walks and good food.

The location in Fort Augustus is excellent, it is a quiet house next to the lock, with a nice conservatory where we had our first cup of tea after our arrival. The room was good and we
appriciated very much that it was on the ground floor so we did not have to carry our luggage
upstairs, and the conservatory with a nice view to the river on the back side was right next to our room. There we also had a lovely breakfeast the next morning.
The hosts extended a warm welcome to us right from the beginning, and we enjoyed our stay with
them very much.
Location
Fort Augustus is a picturesque place and it was perfect for a stay of one night on our tour through Scotland. From our B&B we only walked over the bridge of the lock and had 3 pubs at our disposal for food and drinks, and we had a particularly great time watching the world cup together with the local people who were just wonderful.
