We had a most enjoyable stay at The Heritage Hotel-the room was clean and comfortable, good value for money. Extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming staff and excellent choices for breakfast-we would stay there again when we next visit Glasgow! The only negative factor was outside our window where there was some rubbish left by adjoining properties who also had access via the parapet! However, after informing Reception, they were very prompt to get it cleared, but as I say,the Hotel comes highly recommended, regardless of this!

Location

The beautiful University buildings, where my daughter and I were visiting for the Open Day The equally beautiful Botanical Gardens, definitely worth a visit. Kelvin Grove Park plus Museum and Art Gallery...fantastic and FREE as well! We can thoroughly recommend The Book Club(Vegetarian)... ORAN MOR ... excellent food, service and atmosphere in both and within easy walking distance of the Hotel!! Also, to be recommended, the Patisserie Francoise for lovely food and 'To die for' cakes!!!! Such a brief stay but we shall most definitly be returning...a wonderful city altogther!!

It was a treat to have a large room with a high ceiling and a decent sized bathroom. Even for the price though, it was a little run down. There is no road access to the hotel so taxis etc drop you around the corner and you haul your bags a fair distance. it's nice to be close to the university and there are gret shops and restaurants nearby.

The room was excellent, first and foremost from a practical point of view (e.g. all surfaces not being covered with ornaments). The breakfast was excellent and included potato scones (scottish speciality). I liked BBC breakfast television being on, at just the right volume, in the dining room during breakfast. The service was very efficient and pleasant.

Location

The hotel is in a very good location, being very near the botanic gardens, and also convenient for the Subway at Hillhead and the park-and-ride Subway station at Kelvinbridge. However, the area immediately surrounding the hotel appeared uncared-for, with large amounts of litter.

We found the hotel difficult to find as access was around the back streets. Parking facilities were very poor. The welcome was brief. The rooms were adequate. The food was not of a very good standard. I don't rate this hotel as value for money.

my room was rather small, but clean. The breakfast never varies, but the quality is ok.

Location

The location is good. Along Great Western Road, just 200 meters from Byres Road and the Botanic Garden.
