my room was rather small, but clean. The breakfast never varies, but the quality is ok.
Location
The location is good. Along Great Western Road, just 200 meters from Byres Road and the Botanic Garden.

The room was clean, spacious, newly renovated. The staff were hospitable and helpful. The location was great and it certainly outshone the rated 4-star B&B that we stayed at after leaving the Heritage Hotel.
Certainly, there are not many extras, but it was clean and spacious and everything worked.
Location
Being close to the University of Glasgow, there were some great places to eat within an easy walk of the hotel. It was also conveniently located for the red bus tour and within walking distance of the botanical gardens.

Irregardless of the fact that it was our first night in Scotland, I can honestly say that the experience was one of the best we had. The room was lovely. When I first walked in, I remarked at how perfect it was the the decor was navy and white. It sounds simple, but navy is my favourite colour. I loved the rounded window that overlooked the street. It was clean, and cosy, and had everything we needed for a night's stay. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful, no matter how many times we had questions. Once we found the place, he moved his vehicle to allow us room to park. The service at breakfast was a little difficult to understand, but that is only because the girl serving us is learning english and what better place to do that, than where people are on vacation and many may not be proficient in english as well. There were signs to indicate WHY we were asked to leave our keys at the front desk when we went out which makes logical sense. We loved it.
Location
The location of the Heritage Hotel was perfect for getting a glimpse of both "touristy" Glasgow, and "local" Glasgow. Having just arrived, we went on the city bus tour which we caught right around the corner, also right in front of the Botanical Gardens. We also went in the other direction which had a much more local flavour to use an internet cafe, and browse second hand shops.

Good value for money. Room fine and clean. Nice biscuits! Friendly staff.
Breakfast quickly served, choice good.
Room at front meant traffic and other noise at night.
Location
Very good location for both West End and City Centre. Reception gave good advice about different sites. We did a lot of the Rennie Mackintosh sites, which we loved. Also the Riverside Museum is amazing, and we wouldn't have gone there if it had not been recommended by reception.
Lots of good palces to eat in the West End very close to the hotel - loved Mother India's Cafe and DiMaggios.

Good value with breakfast included. On-suite facility.
Location
We wanted to be in the West End as we are both from Glasgow though no longer living there. Our last flat in Glasgow is just minutes away. Easy transport into town.

On arrival my husband wanted a shower but the drain was blocked so we had to get moved to another room. The room was fine and clean however. Our breakfast was a bit disappointing as the sausages were way over cooked, as was the turkey rasher.
