Hostess was very warm and friendly, the food was fantastic, and the room was attractive and clean but small.
Location
We especially enjoyed the Royal Botanic Gardens (we had seen the castles on a previous visit).

Our stay there was wonderful! We had a great time, the food was amazing, the atmosphere relaxing and beautifully decorated. They made our stay in Edinburgh fantastic!

Excellent. The only reason not outstanding was a television was on in the dining room which I turned off each morning as nobody was watching it ,not necessary.
Location
Location was just great for what we wanted close to all attractions and places to eat out at night.

The overall 'package' works. To be greeted by Heather, in an open, friendly manner is consistent with how the place works. Also, the quality factor is very very high.
Location
The place is pretty conveniently located.

A lovely big bed in a cosy room with very good bathroom facilities. The property was spotless and in a relatively quiet location The food was of the highest quality and the hosts very helpful and attentive. The cost was a little high.
Location
Situated close to the east end of Princes Street, it is within easy walking distance of the main shopping areas and tourist attractions. We walked the Royal Mile, toured Holyrood Palace and dined at great restaurants on George IV Bridge. The castle? Been there, done that many times before. Plenty of buses from Princes Street to take you all over the city and down to the port of Leith.

Everything was provided in a comfortable and quiet room with an excellent shower room. The breakfasts were oustanding in quality and presentation. Our hosts were helpful in booking taxis on a daily basis.
Location
Quietly situated but not far from the centre. The Britannia was an excellent tourist attraction, easily accessible by bus.

Very good facilities, excellent breakfast with Mrs. McDonald giving sense of being in ones own home for my stay.
Location
Adjacent to City Centre, bars and restaurenta, places to see and railway station which gave easy access to The Open in St. andrews which was the primary purpose of my visit.
