Beautiful room, wonderful veiws, very freindly and helpful food was great. All facilities very good. There wasn't any one in when we first arrived at 4pm but this wasn't too much of an inconvenience as we came back an hour later after walking on the beach, but an arrival time could have been advised.

Location

Good area with pretty harbour within walking distance and nice beach walks. Access to other walks on fields and golf course. Good food in local hotel. Not far from Macre moor stone circles. And its Arran which is wonderful.

Very welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. Friendly service and good breakfast. Would definitely return if staying on this side of the island.

Location

Close to local hotel which serves very good food for evening meal.

Large comfy room and excellent quality breakfast. Very relaxed hosts who couldn't be more helpful. Best bonus was being allowed to take our old terrier to our room as this is a pet friendly establishment.

Location

Enjoyed a 2 day stay on the quieter side of the island, gentle walks and wildlife. The archaeology on Machrie Moor is very understated - what a wonderful place. However, a small car park would greatly enhance a visit as I'm sure many people don't stop because parking is difficult. The standing stones are wonderful and its an easy walk - some of the literature is off putting making it seem a long way.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was fine and the hospitality was very nice. Parking was a little confusing in that the entry to the B&B is on the other side of the building from where the parking area is. The tariff is fair for room/board.

Location

Windy roads will take you to scenic spots on the island. For us, the ferry ride over was fun and interesting. Also enjoyable on the island itself is a hike into Machrie Moors, the castle at Lochranza and the wonderful Arran Distillery in the same town. We were there for only one day but would have enjoyed probably another 3 days to fully see the island and what it has to offer.
