The host was very friendly. The view from the front of the hotel was stupendous, however, we were given a garden facing room. We booked two rooms, my sister in law was unable to get the bath to work, only the shower. We did report this, but the problem was not resolved.
Location
Only a short visit, but managed to get round the island via the open topped bus. I thought the island extremely beautiful and would consider going back to explore this isalnd and more of the islands in the area. I was surprised at how good the food was on the island - we ater out in a variety of cafes, restaurants, hotels and was very pleased with the standard of cuisine.

Commodore was very good I would go back however the reason I have rated it good only is they were having a problem with water values in the rooms at that time. Harry did apologise for this. Food was great and Harry and Hazel were really helpful, great location.

room clean and pleasant. value for money reasonable. very hospitable people, friendly and welcoming. breakfast good. only negative was the shower was a bit cranky.

i was visiting rothesay for work reasons. i spent my whole visit in the town, and visited shops and cafes. everyone was very friendly.
