Our stay could not have been better! The proprietor was friendly and informative. The room and bathroom were clean and of a good size, and the full Scottish breakfast was wonderful.

Location

The location is perfectly placed with views of both the canal and the town. We would definitely stay again on any visit to Fort Augustus!

Room was nicely decorated all beds matching. Decor in good state. Single bed base was very old and looked as though it needed replaced. Room was cold when we arrived as proprietor only turned radiator on when he showed us to the room. All heating went off at 12 midnight on a very cold -6 scottish wointers night. Proprietor was very welcoming and friendly

Rooms were very comfortable and clean, great views, and we felt right at home,the food gets a 10 out of 10

The Bank House is well situated in the centre of Fort Augustus giving you shops and places to eat right on your doorstep and with Loch Ness just a stones throw away it gets a big thumbs up from us we will definitely be back

The accomodation was good value for money, although the breakfast could do with a bit of improvement. The owner was very hospitable and had good suggestions for dinner in the surrounding area.

The host is nice and has a good sense of humor; also, he is very helpful as to the area. The room is spic-and-span clean. The location is superb. We plan to return for a week stay at The Bank House because we were so pleased.

Location

We liked how central The Bank House is to Inverness and Skye; thus, it is an ideal base for a vacation; next trip we will stay for a week and take side trips.
