The presentation of this cottage is outstanding and everything we needed for a self-catering stay was included. We were able to watch birds and squirrels feeding right outside the windows. There are many good walking tracks nearby, and hosts Hans and Ria were extremely friendly and obliging.

The house was a delight to stay in, warm, comfortable and well equipped with kitchen utensils, crockery and glasses. CD player, LCD TV and a log fire too if you want it. Deer and red squirrels in the garden - need I say more.

Rooms well thought out, clean, warm:- log fire and underfloor heating. Well equipped and in lovely woodland setting with easy travel into Inverness and surrounding attractions.You do need a car to get out and about. Wi-fi works intermittently. Red squirrels feed near the kitchen window, and deer roam the woods.

About 30mins. from Inverness airport, easy route to get there. Within reasonable distance if you have a car are Culloden Battlefied well worth a visit, nice food in restaurant there. The coast around Nairn, Cawdor Castle. Shopping in Inverness, only £2 to park for 4hrs. near station. Fort Augustus, Lochness. Above Inverness the coast around the Moray Firth worth a visit for Dolphin spotting. Beauly a nice ride and craft & fashion shops. We visited as my daughter ran the Lochness marathon held every October, she enjoyed the run and it's a scenic marathon to run.
