Our room was clean and everything needed available. It is an older hotel with smaller rooms. The service was friendly but it was a pity that the small bar was not open a little bit longer as the next pub was a few miles away.

The room was excellent and very spacious. What we found odd was when we went into the dining room to have our first dinner there and we wanted to choose from the bar menu we were told by the waiter that we could not do so because we were in the dining room. Things did improve the following evening.
