The room had a beautiful view,outside private deck and a small t.v. room with extra futon. The bathroom was beautiful, with large garden tub and shower. Everything was clean and top notch. Paula prepared an outstanding, cooked to order breakfast. She and her husband were knowledgeable about the area and gave us helpful tips for the remainder of our trip. Please visit the Tarbet House and allow at least 2 nights. We only were there for one, and it certainly wasn't enough!

One of the best views of Loch Lomond. Everything I'd hoped for in a setting. Food was good. Accommodation is extremely generous, spacious and well appointed. Absolutely no complaint about facilities at all. The venue is very attractively removed from the village. Very professionally run and extremely well organized. Good value for money with tariffs consistent with the offering.

This was a stop-over on my way to the Western Isles. I didn't have much opportunity to explore the surrounding area.

The room standard was as good as any 4/5 Star hotel with a view down Loch Lomond to die for. Proprietors very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Not cheap but well worth it.

The accomadation overall was excellent, a spotless and comfortable room with a wonderfull view of the Loch. Breakfast was delicious and we were given a very warm and friendly welcome.

Paula and George could not have been more welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the view from our floor-to-ceiling windows of Loch Lomond was nothing short of spectacular. Breakfast was excellent, the gardens are beautiful, and Paula's recommendation for dinner, the charming Ben Lomond Restaurant, was perfect for two people suffering from jet lag - peaceful and delicious. But the real test of a B&B owner is when something out of the ordinary happens, as it did to us. When we were unpacking we realized our computer bag, containing our laptop AND my husband's heart pills, had been left behind at the airport. Paula was right there with her phone and helped us negotiate through the emergency with, literally, tea and sympathy. We had a happy ending because Airport Security had found the bag and we picked it up the next morning; but we cannot thank Paula enough for the way she dealt with our distress. She is an angel! We will be back to Tarbet House!

The accomodation was clean, fresh, modern -yet with a warm feel. Owners were friendly, but not intrusive. Our room was large with the most spectacular views, heating was good as well as possiblility of opening a window if too warm, bed was roomy, bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Hosts helpful with recommendations of places to eat and making reservations for us.

Location

We were only stopping over on our way to the Outer Hebrides, so other things are not that noteworthy from us. We did go to a restaurant around the corner from the accomodation that was great! I believe the name of the place was called Ben Lomond Restaurant? It is in an old church. Very good food and great atmosphere.

This was the best accomodation we have received on our travels todate, the couple were very friendly and the rooms and meal to the highest standards.
