Entire home was fantastic - our room was massive and very nicely furnished - Ann and Mike were very welcoming from the beginning and were great to talk to, and our room was equipped with some nice extras that you don't always find in B&B's (e.g. hair dryer, tea in room, shampoo, etc.).
The food was also great - a lot of organic items, and very, very healthy and hearty for the day. You won't find a better breakfast in any restaurants!
Was very nice to find the room had city maps and information, as well as a booklet made by Mike & Ann which detailed local restaurants and amenities, all marked on a map, with some menus as well for price information. Was incredibly helpful.
Location
Only a 10 minute walk from Edinburgh's city center, and only around the corner from some great restaurants, internet cafes, etc.
Great location all around - away from the noise, in a very nice area, but walking distance to everything you'd see as a tourist.
We were thrilled with how helpful they were, and how nice to chat with. Was nicer than most hotels out there - would sooner stay here than at the Hilton.

Lovely comfortable room. Bathroom very attractive. Helpfullness and service of owners excellent. Charming and peaceful environment.Great breakfast. Owner even came to find us when we got lost!

Visiting Fringe Festival. Easy walking distance to venues, no more than 20minutes max.

The location is excellent, you won't find better hosts than Mike and Ann anywhere and we have travelled everywhere. Friendly, helpful, welcoming, after one night we felt part of the family. Fabulous breakfast and comfortable, quiet room. When we return to Scotland we will make sure we go to Edinburgh just to stay here.
Location
We visited during the Edinburgh Festival and although we went to see the Military Tattoo, which is brilliant, and historic sights, we were overwelmed by the fantastic street activities. So alive and full of fun and wonderful spectacles. Well organised and every one so courteous and friendly. We did see the historic sights and the Royal Mile and New Town are all worth a visit and easy to walk. A very friendly city.

absolute attention to our needs providing organic and non-dairy and vgetarian diets. vwey welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.Room and location brilliant with everthing a walk away!
Location
Ednburgh is a great place to visit. We had only been once on the "make poverty History" demo and promised our selves this visit and it was really good. Lots of great places to see and good sandard of restaurants.

The room was pleasant, clean and the bed very comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood and our hosts were very friendly people.
Location
Tantallon Place was only a 5 minute walk from the university-area and the festival-venues were near at hand.

Very friendly and helpful owners - made us feel at home. Lovely room, very high standard of hygiene throughout. Lovely breakfasts and good location for Edinburgh centre.
