The room was lovely facing a quiet garden. Mike and his wife were lovely hosts and cook you a homemade breakfast in their beautiful house. The room was cleaned to perfection and you were made to feel very welcome.
Location
Edinburgh is a great place to visit no matter what your interests are.

A Lovely home just across the Meadows from the University of Edinburgh, and a short walk to Old Town. Mike and Ann are very welcoming hosts. I highly recommend Tantallon!

Rooms were very nice - large and very clean. Mike and Anne were very hospitable. The house is beautiful, as is the garden. Food was great. Shower was a little slow.

Good location - easy walking to tourist attractions, good restaurants close by.

We were there for 3 days at the beginning of June 2009. Mike picked us up at the train station, which was very appreciated, especially when arriving to a new area. They have two rooms and we were assigned the one looking east which was bright and very clean. The area was very quiet; we heard the birds in the morning. Ann and Mike prepared excellent healthy breakfasts. It was feeling like home.
Location
The location was perfect for us as we were able to walk easily downtown Edinburg. There was also
tourist information in the room and restaurants around. The Edinburg Castle and the downtown area are good place to visit.

Rooms big enough (one is hugh), owners very helpfull and friendly, nice and pacefull house and neighbourhood

Only 15 minutes by foot from Road Mill, through a nice park.
