We were picked up at the train station by Mike and he and Ann were some of the nicest people I've ever met. The room was very clean and cozy and the breakfast was delicious.
Location
The B&B was within easy walking distance of most attractions and lots of places to eat. Mike and Ann made sure we had lots of maps and suggested places we might visit and restaurants.

We had a beautiful large room with a very comfy king size bed. Breakfasts were great too, with Mike's lovely fresh fruit salad every morning in adition to a well-presented full Scottish if desired. Both Anne and Mike made us very welcome.
Location
The location is very good....a stroll accross the meadow puts you on the Royal Mile. So many great attractions, and a city full of history and charm.

The stay was great and the hosts were polite and very helpful. If I was to visit Scotland again in the near future I would definitely stay at the Tantallon B&B.

BEUATIFULLY AND COMFORTABLE ROOM . VERY SPACIOUS WITH EN SUITE BATHROOM CONSISTING OF SHOWER AND WARM WATER! QUIET AND PEACEFUL SURROUNDINGS, AND WE WERE ABLE TO PARK THE CAR INSIDE.CLOSE WALKING DISTANCE TO ALL ATTRACTIONS IN EDINBURG . MIKE ALSO PROVIDED US WITH A VERY GOOD MAP AND GUIDANCE TO MAKE OUR VISIT EASY. IT WAS EASILY REACHED FROM THE MAIN ROADS AND WE HAD NO PROBLEMS FINGING THE ADDRESS.

WE ENJOYED TO CLOSE PROCSIMITY TO ALL THE MAYOR ATRACTIONS, wE ESPECIALLY LIKE THE WALK THROUGH THE MEADOW(GARDENS) ON OUR WAY.

Lovely room overlooking back garden, tastefully decorated; breakfast was delicious; hosts Mike and Ann were just terrific - could not have been kinder, more welcoming, and helpful with information.
Their home is very elegant and warm, in great location, very quiet, 2 min. walk from the Meadows, and 10 mins. from old Edinburgh. we were delighted with our stay and would definitely go back.
Location
We enjoyed that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go - the Royal Mile, hiking up Arthur's Seat, having a pint in the Sheep Heid Inn in Duddingston Village just over the other side of Arthur's Seat. The Scottish people were very warm and friendly. We were incredibly lucky with the weather as it was sunny almost every day (five days) that we were there. A special part of our visit was meeting Mike and Ann at the Tantallon and feeling that we have a home away from home to return to in Edinburgh.

Mike and Anne were excellent hosts. Helpful in every way. Their home is amazing, and the room we had was wonderful, quaint and clean! The tea tray was of course enjoyable. The breakfast room was beautiful and the meal very, very tasty.
Location
We loved both Edinburgh Castle and the Scotish National Gallery - both within walking distance of Tantallon...even in the rain...as we experienced.
