- Room was clean.
- Breakfast was good. Dining room is impressive.
- Plenty of reading material is available.
- Staff is soft-spoken.

- 30 minute walk from Waverly. 25 minute walk from Edinburgh Castle. Nearest bus station (Haymarket)
is barely 400 meters away.

Standard of the room need a bit of an update - bedding,
hospitality was fine,
facilities in room fine
food for breakfast was ok - the cafe bar for tea and coffee didn't impress.
Location
Edinburgh tattoo was excellent
Royal mile and the old town excellent
market place at church excellent and general friendliness of the people great.

The food was very good and promptly served.
Location
The Edinburgh castle was fantastic.
The military tattoo was amazing.
The rich history evidenced by old buildings and monuments was intriguing.
