Signal Rock cottage is a charming place, and the young couple in charge of it were most friendly and helpful.
The only complaint we had was the hardness of the mattress, but that seems to be in common with many of the B&Bs.
Location
The location within the glen, in deep woods and by the side of a small loch, was wonderful. And we learned that some of the scenes for the Harry Potter movies were filmed right here.

The manager and his wife were very nice and Slavik was more than helpful when we got stuck trying to find the place. You really need a sign !!!!!

Very friendly and helpful housekeepers who work extremely hard to ensure the guests comfort etc.

If you like scenery this is the place; for a 'quick fix' take a walk to the bottem of the drive and turn left onto the 'main' road, walk for about 20 minutes until you come to a steel gate on your right. This opening takes you to the foot of The Pap and after walking up the rocky path for about 10 mins you will find a table and chairs with the most beautiful scenery of mountains all around you...perfect!

It is a very nice&cosy Cottage/B&B with underfloor heating, good insulation and really good water pressure in the showers. Stereo/DVD-Player in the living room/Washing & drying facilities free to use. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only negative aspect is that there was a regular booming noise at night (not from outside, there is only nature around :)) but from a part of the heating system oder hot water tanks (donīt know). It wasnīt really a problem, we do have a sound sleep but it might disturb others. And by the way, you definitely need a car to stay there as itīs quite a nice walk to civilisation.

Well, itīs Glencoe, what more should I say. Certainly it is even more beautiful in winter, when itīs not so overcrowded.

Only stayed 1 night, but the whole surrounding area was pretty impressive!
