Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds, great hospitality with freshly baked brownies on arrival. There were DVDs for the kids to watch (great on a rainy afternoon!). Breakfast was superb, with quite a variety of choice. The owners were lovely and went out of their way to help us out. We went for a fabulous hike climbing the hill at the back of the property. On our way down from the mountain we got caught in a heavy rain shower. When we approached the road, the owner of the B&B was waiting for us in his car, to give us a lift back to our accommodation. Very thoughtful!

Absolutely fabulous I would recommend the Queen to spend a few days there. The accommodation was fit for royalty and the the host and hostess were top class. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They did the little extras that one would normally have to pay for like servicing cream scones and tea when we had the disappointment of not getting to Iona.

Location

Arrived and left Oban in brilliant sunshine but the day inbetween when we were to go to Iona it poured with rain. Bowmans were as helpful as they could be under the circumstances. I learnt later in the day that the ferry only got as far as Mull. We drove around Oban did some very good shopping close to the ferry station and attempted to get to Fort William but halfway there we turned back as it was raining so much. Paid a visit to Dunstaffa Castle which was very interesting

Everything about this B & B shouted quality! The bungalow was very well kept; the greeting on arrival was great - tea and home-made shortbread appeared as if by magic! The en-suite bedroom was warm, immaculate, so big we could have had a dance and with quality furnishings. After a really good night's sleep, the breakfast was excellent - apart from the absense of Stornaway black pudding - Jane had apologised the night before, stating the butcher had let her down! However, this did not detract from the overall quality of the breakfast! So many choices!

Location

Set in a beautiful glen, peaceful and quiet - ideal for a get-away-from-it-all break.

We were very pleased with our room after a full day of driving to get there on our way to Iona. Everything was above what I expected.

Location

We used this as a stopping point to catch the ferryvto Isle of Mull. It was perfect for that. We did not do any other site visits in that area.

The room was not just a bedroom - but large enough to call a living room with the facilities to work from too. However, this in no way detracted from the comfort of the room, which was excellent. The tranquility of the surroundings was unbeatable. Everything was spotless and beautifully laid out with some very tasteful 'touches' added. Our host was very hospitable and friendly, without being 'in your face'. And the food....super!!! If we find ourselves in that area again we'd look no further than to enquire of Sheep Fank for accommodation. What greater recommendation could we give?

Location

The countryside in the immediate vicinity is magnificent. We had returned from Colonsay so spent very litle time visiting the surrounding area, but drove through much of it on the homeward journey. Nevertheless the region itself is WELL worth spending time in.

Our room was very big an absolutely clean. Infrastructor and everything else was at place and without any objection. We were recived by Jane, our landlady, warmly and kept comfortable during our stay at Sheep Frank Cottage.

Location

Sheep Frank Cottage lies very quiet but nevertheless only a few minutes away from busy, but lovely Oban. From there, we had the ability, for visiting the islands and making other trips into the country. Visiting Mull and the small island named Luing were highlights, also the hiking trip to the nearby, picturesque waterfalls, a short distance only from Sheep Frank Cottage.
