Wonderful position and views. Very friendly and welcoming. Room a bit cramped, but very comfortable and clean.

Everything was adequate. Shower room very small, as was room. Food was very good and the landlady was a very good host.

Unfortunately, the weather was not very good for our type of holiday, given the time of year. No'one's fault.

Although we found the room small, it was clean and well appointed.The landlady Mrs Simpson was very welcoming and an excellant cook. She was also very knowledgable on all things local and we were very comfortable there.

Location

The location is breathtaking being in a very picturesque setting and near to the bird reserve. We found the views over the bay stunning and have decided we will return there at another time. We were also able to see otters close up which is a bonus.

Room slightly on small side, no soap/shower gel provided.

Location

Ideal location if a birdwatcher, set close to sandy beach. 5 miles to nearest hotel to eat.

The standard of the room was high and we thought offered great value for money, we were made very welcome by Kathy and had outstanding breakfasts.

We enjoyed the local pub (Westford Inn) great food and the arts centre at Lochmaddy plus the sculpture trail
