Could only open small window and room was a bit stuffy on a hot night
Restaurant was closed that night. Good directions to local pub
Everybody very friendly
Good breakfast
Room very clean and tidy
Excellent value for money but windows and restaurant being closed just let it down a bit
Location
Business trip just passing through. Just needed somewhere to sleep

The accommodation was was lovely and my room had all the facilities including Tea and Coffee too. A lot of thought had gone into the establishment and the breakfast lounge was well set out and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was made to feel very welcome and it was a lovely setting next to the Lanark Loch. My dogs were in my room in cages and behaved well and it was very kind of the management to allow me to do this. I would certainly stay there again should I be in that area. I thought it was value for money and I would recommend to anyone else. The breakfast was excellent.
Location
The facility is a good place to visit all the tourist attractions but I was there to go to 2 cairn shows at the Lanark Market. I would certainly suggest we hold events there again. I found being at the Equestrian Centre a nice relaxing place to stay with a lovely walk on the doorstep in Lanark Loch. The people working there were extremely nice and the resident springer spanial made me welcome too. It was a very welcoming place to stay and it was very homely too. It was certainly value for money. I cannot comment on the tourist things as I was not there for that purpose.

We travelled 350 miles to get there, the hospitality was excellent, but on the first night the heating had broke. The breakfast was average, cooked breakfast a bit too greasy for our liking, but everything else was fine,
Location
we travelled a round trip of 80 miles to go to Edinburgh castle which was very pleasant.

The accomodation was very welcoming and comfortable, unfortunately however we were unable to use the shower in the first room that we were given. This matter was resolved quickly and a new room was allocated, the new room was not a double room as requested in our booking, instead it was a twin. The room was still perfectly comfortable and well equiped for our needs although the sleeping arrangements were not to our request. Altogether though a nice hotel, welcoming staff and a very nice breakfast. (That cured the hangover impeccably)
Location
Unfortunately I'm not a horse rider but there seemed to be a lot of happy younger people (kids and teenagers) enjoying the facilities of the equestrian centre, which is in litterally on the doorstep, and the hotel. The town of lanark is a short (5min - £4 approx) taxi journey away with it's local and high street shops, bars and local restaurants. The world heritage village of New lanark is also a short taxi ride away (10mins - £6 approx) or a nice walk down through the clyde valley for the more adventurous or fit amongst you.
