we recived a very warm welcome and the children were wll catered to. The beds in our family room were warm and cozy.

We found the Old Schoolhouse a newly, with much love renovated building. The rooms are big and bright with modern bathrooms. We especially enjoyed the comfortable large beds. We were friendly wellcomed and offered help and advice where possible. We were even allowed to use the kitchen to prepare our dinner!! Thanks again for the nice stay! The difference to other B&Bs was the breakfast. While the others offered every kind of breakfast from a full Scottish breakfast to fruit and every kind of flakes and muesli we were only offered toast, honey, marmelade and fruit. We found it enough as we had got the other things the other days before. We would always choose this place again.

Location

W3e only stayed in Ballater for 2 nights so that we did not relly have a chance to find out about all the touristic facilities, attractions and places worth visiting. But we went fishing for a whole day and enjoyed it very much!
