Lovely location, with views of the the Troon golf course. Very friendly welcome. A grand house with a history, many rooms beautifully restored (some to be done). Would choose Sandhills rather than a budget hotel every time.
Location

Accomadation was impecable. eveything needed and more was supplied. all items were in as new condition with no signs of wear. the staff are amazingly helpfull and deffinately make you feel more like family than a paying guest. food is good quality and is served promtly with a large range of sitting times. dining is special in the ambience of the large room with an open fire at the time i visited. tables impeccable with table clothes and quality tableware. prices were good concidering the size of rooms and there quailty. a deffinate must stay place even if one had no other reason to visit the area.
Location
location is near to yacht haven, scotts restaurant, golf courses and ferrie but its also in substantial grounds and has a feel of isolation but with style and elegance of a small stately home.

We were made very welcome. The choices for breakfast are outstanding and in a lovely room. The lounge is also delightful. The overall standard of Sandhills was far higher than we expected. The suite we stayed in was large airy and very well furnished. We had panoramic views over the sea the golf course and the countryside. The grounds are spaciaous and beautiful. We would not hesitate to recomend Sandhills to anyone. Very good value for money.
Location
We loved the area with it's soft undulating scenery by comparison to the rugged parts of Scotland that we have been used to seeing. We visited Culzeen Castle well worth a visit. Both the interior of the castle and it's gardens are most impressive. There was an Easter egg hunt and a Craft Fair in the grounds when we visited. A very good day out. We joined the National Trust Whilst we were there as it is half the price to join in Scotland than it is in England.

Location
Visit was due to a wedding in Troon. Troon has very good hotels, shops and countryside. Convenient for Arran and Prestwick particularly.
