The room was lovely, it was extremely clean and was constantly warm. There was a lovely welcoming drink of whisky for us and the tea and coffee was renewed everyday. Breakfast was out of this world with a very varied menu. We would definetly reccomend Sandaig to our friends and family and if we visited Edinburgh again we would stay there again
Location
We were walking distance from the main town and attractions, we especially enjoyed our visit to the castle. We were also within walking distance of a good selection of excellent bars and restuants.

One minor grumble: the 'free Wi-Fi' advertised was non-functional throughout our stay. But all the oridnary facilities were beyond criticism

Lovely large triple room, very helpful hospitality, beautiful dining room and fantastic breakfast!
Location
Edinburgh is certainly worth the visit. Check out the free walking tours, 3 hours of intersting facts told with the Scottish perspective. Edinburgh castle and Holyrood palace are a can't miss as well as the entire Royal mile. Dress warmly and enjoy!

First class quality accommodation, very clean room and en-suite, lovely dining room and great breakfast.
Location
Very handy for the city centre, short 10 minute bus trip, from The Sandaig cost £1. 20 minute walk to Ocean terminal and Royal yacht Britannia, worth a visit.

We booked Four Poster room. Beautiful heavy drapes & matching bedding along with beautiful carved furtnitre & flat screen tv & DVD player.
En-suite was lovely too, huge shower & sink & old fashioned replica toilet with hanging chain. Everything was so clean. Breakfast in the morning was also very nice, with 3 courses. The waiting staff were very polite & service very quick. Would highly recommend the Sandaig & we will definately be going back when the occasion arises.
Location
We weren't tourists but the information at reception was plentiful.
