Everything was excellent. Howard and Sue we're fantastic hosts and were very well informed about the surrounding area for places to visit and recommendations of eating places. They spoiled us for our next part of our holiday.

Location

We found the best place to eat in Inverary was The George Hotel . The Tavallich Inn was great for lunch. We would recommend you ask Howard on places to visit.

The decoration of this establishment is of a very high standard. The bedrooms we stayed in where so beautiful and the bathrooms spotless and luxurious. The overall stay was lovely for all of us and the host Susan made us so welcome. My husband and son thought that the breakfast was delicious, I personally enjoyed it a great deal and the fresh fruit salad made up was a really nice touch. Overall we had a lovely stay in this beautiful bed and breakfast.

Location

We ate our evening meal in the George Hotel, which was really nice and reasonably priced. Of course we visited the Jail which was expected if in the area, was an enjoyable visit.

We were greeted with a welcome pot of tea & biscuits after a journey from Glasgow. Our room was comfortable, although it was in the eaves, & overlooked the loch. Our hosts had good suggestions to make for trips & local eateries, & were friendly & helpful.

Location

Inveraray was a pleasant 10 minute walk with a good pub & food. The castle was worth a visit. Ardouine Gardens on the coast was pretty too. The original Loch Fyne Oyster Bar was 8 miles further up the loch with good seafood.
