Excellent friendly and very helpful host and hostess. I'm very fond of Arrochar and have visited the village regularly over the years. I would have given outstanding but the single room (unlike the other rooms) has a private bathroom rather than en-suite, and a single velux window. But very comfortable and cosy nonetheless and great as a walking base.
Location
Great location for walking up the Munros and Corbetts. Very sad about the RAF Tornado crash while I was there.

The accommodation was quite good, particularly the breakfast. However, one of my party found that the shower did not work for two days of our four day stay. Also, parking was a slight problem.
Location
We went out to dinner twice at the Village Inn, which was an excellent restaurant in walking distance.
