Visitor Reviews of Roseneath Guest House - Overall Rating 3.9

Although I made the booking for me and for friends from Sweden, a hurricane at home canceled our flight - so we could not stay at the Roseneath..... our friends from Sweden did and they described their stay as very comfortable. When I called the Roseneath to change the booking due to our travel problems, James was very understanding and helpful, as well as calming. I wish that we had been able to stay at the Roseneath as originally planned.

Room adequate, hostess pleasant, but we had to catch the ferry to Tiree early morning so were not offered breakfast.
Location
Evening meal reasonable but no great range of choice in the town.

Great room and location. Excellent hospitality. Nice to have a tv and coffee/tea facilities in room and very good food for breakfast. Only complaint would be the shower pressure was a bit of a trickle, but not serious. Stayed in 2 different rooms as we came back, 2nd room's shower was fine.
Location
Fantastic central location and kind enough to let us leave our car while we spent a night on Iona.

This B&B had everything we were looking for. The food was excellent and the warm welcome and helpfulness of our hostess was much appreceated.
Having arrived at the ferry terminal on the morning of our departure, I realised that I had left our vital holiday itinerary and papers in the vestibule. We arrived back at the B&B just as our hostess was about to get into her car to bring the items to us at the Ferry. What service!
Location
I wish we had been able to spend time looking around Oban, but we had a lovely meal in the Waterfront Restaurant and a gentle walk round the lovely harbour/sea front then a slow climb back to the B&B.
