Very nice,clean rooms.
Great breakfast.
Very friendly and accomodating management.
Location
We had visited Portpatrick and Mull of Galloway on previous visits, and those were the two places in particular we wanted to visit again. Once again we enjoyed both.

After travelling from south of Ireland to Belfast and across to Stranraer - we were anxious to get to our accommodation. From the outside we did not know what to expect, however once inside we were warmly welcomed. After checking in a flask of milk was provided for our tea facilities in the room and at reception a displayed Biscuits and crisps were available to guests. Bottled water & Biscuits were provided in the room also. The b/room & bathroom decor was lovely and indeed was to become the cleanest we had stayed in throughout our stay in Scotland. Breakfast was brilliant.
Location
We went up the West coast – taking two ferries along the way – ending up in Lock Ness. along the way beautiful breath-taking scenery

We stayed in the Garden Flat, which had a separate twin room, living room with a double bed, kitchen and bathroom. It was immaculate, there were lovely touches such as toiletries and hot chocolate, and was amazing value for money.
The breakfasts were fantastic, there was a beautiful lounge to relax in, with lots of books to borrow and music playing.
And the owners made us feel so welcome - nothing was too much trouble and it was like staying with friends.
Location
Directly over the road is a slope/rough steps down to the shingle beach, with patches of sand - perfect for our toddler. There is a large garden with gazebo to use, and it is on the main road to Stranraer(though set back, so no traffic noise)
Lots to visit in the area, or catch the ferry to Ireland.

The owners are doing a great job refurbishing this hotel. Bedroom and bathroom, especially were beautifully decorated and functional. As this b and b is really only situated there because of the ferry terminals close by,it was a pleasant surprise to see such enthusiasm from the owners and their determination to continue to improve. Great breakfast and good advice re eating out. We can highly recommend this b and b,
Location
As mentioned above it should be recommended for it's location if catching the ferries. We didn't have time to do a review of the cafes or other local attractions in town.

We were looked after very well, the room was very comfortable and the hosts had thought of everything. The hotel was clean and the decor of a high standard. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.
Location
Scenic area which is relatively quiet and not touristy. Good place for motoring around and discovering out of the way tea-rooms and secluded beaches.

The owners were especially wonderful. They served great breakfasts and were very helpful in providing information and advice. The inn is newly remodeled with spacious rooms.
Location
The inlet around Stranraer is gorgeous. We walked along the coastal trail and had an easy trip to reach the ferry the next morning.
