Very good service! The manager helped us to organise a spontaneous trip to a distillery.
Sprachlich auch kein Problem, weil auch sehr gut deutsch gesprochen wird.

I thought the room was very small for a double room and I have stayed in far better accommodation for less cost
My father is elderly and the stairs were very narrow and had no bannister rail on the left side. This proved quite unsafe at times.
However the staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very nice.

Breakfast was good but not a big choice nor variaty, in our room there was only a small cupboard and not much hangers, bathroom was small but newly decorated.

Royal Mile and main attractions within walking distance, also a quiet Pub just round the corner

Value for money. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was what we expected.The rooms were clean, although basic, they had all we needed for a stay of one night only!
Tap in bathroom veered to the right whenever it was touched, but produced the goods OK.
The location was the Hotel's greatest asset, only a few minutes from the shops, cinema, and several good eating places.

Time of year-super sales! Attractions in Princes Street, firworks at night.

room could do with finishing off! although tidy,was basic.The shower would not have accomadated anyone very portly as the gap to get in was minimal.We were on the second floor ,but would not suit everyone as the stairs were quite steep.The staff were very freindly and accomadating although english wasnt their first language.
Location
The location was very good for the railway station and the shopping,we were able to walk to the royal mile and the castle.

The room was basic but well worth the money, there are no lifts so this would make it difficult for the less mobile, the beakfast choicewas good and the staff were very friendly

The location was excellent, very close to the comedy club which is well worth going to!! Very close to princes street and waverley bridge, the tour buses were great and everyone very friendly. Cant wait to return!!!
We had a great time, six girlies on a weekend away celebrating my 40th Birthday.
