I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at the Ravenscraig Guest House. Tea/coffee facilities were excellent - as were the breakfasts! My only reservation was that the hot water in the WHB could have been hotter. I had a shower cabinet in my bathroom, but my friend had an over-the-bath shower and found it difficult to use

Location

My friend and I were attending the Trefoil Guild Gala Dinner and AGM in the Conference Centre on 8 and 9 May. Ravenscraig was ideally situated for this. We also took the funicular to the Cairngorm where skiers were still enjoying the slopes!

rooms were of a good standard ( stayed in a triple room ) Breakfast was excellent, loads of choice and extremely filling. Owners and staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable.

Location

We went Aviemore for skiing, but if thats not your cup of tea there are a 1001 different outdoor activities to try, breweries and distilleries to visit and of course Loch Ness is 40 mins away

My stay at the Ravenscraig was short but enjoyable. I had a small ensuite single room that was warm and comfortable and adequate for my stay. It was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I needed an earlier breakfast because I had an early (8.30am) train to catch and they accomadated this with no fuss. Overall I would recomend it and would stay there again.

Standard of food, standard of accommodation, hospitality, value of money, location.

N/A only in Aviemore to attend wedding BUT wedding was on top of Cairn Gorm mountain at the Ptmarigan Pestaurant. The railway journey up the mountain, the venue,the service - all give us Scots something to be proud of!
