WE WERE HAPPY ENOUGH WITH OUR ROOMS BUT DISAPPOINTED THAT THERE WAS NOT THE CHOICE OF A FRESHLY COOKED BREAKFAST.ON REFLECTION THIS WAS PROBABLY MENTIONED ON lINE WHEN WE BOOKED BUT WENT UNNOTICED AS WE WERE KEEN TO FIND ACCOMODATION QUICKLY.

Nice welcome, comfortable clean room, good breakfast.

Only used as a stop over before catching the ferry but would use again if visiting the area.

Beautiful room, great breakfast - we didn't stay long. Host very kind.

Location

I really loved Oban. It's small, you can walk everywhere et people are friendly. The view is beautiful on the sea.

Our room was very nice. It was clean & comfortable. Our hosts, Moira & Stuart are wonderful people. Very friendly & extremely helpful. We had off street packing which was great. We didn't have a hot breakfast as we were off on an excursion very early in the morning, however the choices that were offered as a continental breakfast were lovely & fresh. The location is great as it is very close to everything. I would say great value for your money & highly recommend the Raniven ! Oban is a beautiful place & the tour to Staffa was incredible. the rooms are clean and the location is nice; but the way how they served the breakfast was basically not acceptable. Everything was still wrapped by clingfilm.

- very good welcome - off road parking useful - quiet - room was fine - clean etc - breakfast was rather disappointing -Continental style & many of the items were pre-packed
