Made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, and a wonderful breakfast. Great facilities, very comfortable bedroom with complimentary l'occitane shower gel, lotion etc and a coffee machine in the room which was really nice.

Power went out in our bathroom, so no lights or extractor fan were available for last day of stay, but this was a first-time occurance, we were assured. Staff cannot be blamed for erratic fuses. The stay was wonderful bar one exception - some breakfast menu items (pancakes especially) did not arrive as described (no almonds?). A minor gripe, our stay was otherwise excellent and we will certainly consider returning for the warm reception and welcome feel of the property in the future.

Very good and stylish interior design throughout, spaceous, modern and well intergrated into the older house. Done to a very high standard. Use of gym, sitting room, library, pool room, internet, etc. Very good breakfast.
Location
In an excellent quiet part of Edinburgh with in an easy walk of all areas (Princes Street, Holyrood, Castle, Royal Mile, Carlton Hill, etc). Great restaurants near by.

We were extremely well looked after by Kerry and Sophie who both went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Breakfasts delicious. Location excellent for getting about town, especially as we had a jam packed concert schedule during the Edinburgh Festival. Can't wait for our return visit. It was like a home from home.
Location
The main reason for our visit was to attend events at the Edinburgh Festival. It was great to be so centrally located as this made getting about much easier and quicker.

Beautiful and clean. Service was first rate. Comfortable. Great location, but some things like the TV's, WiFi and Mac computer did not work in certain rooms. Food was very good, but baked items were ice cold from being frozen, so I never ate them.

The accommodation is exceptional and the decor is unique.
Location
10-15 minute walk to main attractions and restaurants very close by, the surrounding area is lush and green however parking is limited.
