I Booked this accommodation for our friends who were visiting us from Canada and wished to visit Elgin as one of their ancestors was buried there. They were exceptionally impressed with the warm welcome they were accorded and the first class service. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed with its own patio. They hope to stay there again when they come back over.

Location

Our friends had a wonderful time visiting the town of Elgin and the surrounding area. They were also able to find the grave of their ancestor.

Pluses-Clean, quite, well appointed, en suite bathroom, private entrance, TV, good heater, ample parking, patio access to room, attentive and pleasant host; great Scottish breakfast; town of Elgin is a good stopping point between Speyside tours and Inverness/Loch Ness/gateway to Highlands. Minuses-Away from town center so you need a car; a little hard to find unless you have detailed maps or good directions

Location

Eating selection in Elgin is poor-fast food/take away and otherwise low-scale eating establishments. Elgin Cathedral is great. Wish its opening hours were 8 am not 9:30 am.

The room was just perfect, clean and well decorated. It was like being in your own little annex . We were given a key and told to come and go as we please. Wendy, was just marvelous , she catered for our likes and dislikes and gave us tips on where to eat out, visit etc. Very friendly. We would highly recommend .

Location

Basically just the scenery with the small fishing villages and harbours. We even did a bit of bird watching as there was so much i hadnt seen since i was a lad.
