beautiful place in remote area, looked like a fairies' house to me. only problem , because of a misunderstanding we had to reach it in the dark and it really looked "in culo al mondo"( excuse my italian). however, the same road in the daylight was much more pleasant to drive on

i regret i wasn't able to reach neist point lighthouse because we didn't have the time. however, land and seascapes just west of oisgill house are really stunning, i'm sure i will never forget them

Beautiful area, incredibly sweet hosts - both Debbie and Gary, and lovely house. Really nice to have the whole place to ourselves, nice fire going in fireplace, gorgeous gardens, just a perfect spot.

Mr&Mrs Lane went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable. We had booked a twin room, but also had the use of a lounge with television and coal fire, if we had wanted it, and a kitchen. Breakfasts were excellent, with a big choice, fresh seasonal fruit every day, and always imaginatively presented. They really made our visit special and couldn't have been more helpful.

We were doing a botanical survey, and enjoyed the spectacular scenery and varied habits to be found around Waterstein.

Cozy, clean, quintessentially SKYE! Wonderful food, great hosts, quiet location, easy to walk to Neist Point, loads of birdlife, sheep. Loch right in front of croft. Deb and Greg are the best hosts, very accommodating, flexible about supper time so you don't have to rush 'home' for your meal. Our Best B & B in the UK

The B&B is ideally located at Waterstein which is a very quiet place by Nest (view) point. It is also close to Dunvegan castle.
