We stayed in 5 different hotels during our weeks stay in Scotland but this hotel was by far the best.
The standard of the room was excellent, breakfast very good, and the owners were very welcoming and friendly, We would definitely stay again if we were in the area and have no hesitation in recommending it.
Location
The location of the hotel was ideal, being walking distance to the town, the castle was well worth a visit as was the tour of the jail.

Old building with creaky doors, but all else was wonderful; friendly but not overpowering hosts.
Location
Very scenic town, easy to walk around; house is within walking distance of Old Town

The room was absolutely delightful. Spacious, with two chairs to sit in and watch television if you wanted and huge comfortable beds. The bathroom was well kitted out as were the tea/coffee facilities with a lovely touch of orange juice. The breakfast was amazing and all in all a wonderful place to stay. We were welcomed so warmly by Donald and Carol who had thought of everything to make our overnight stay so extremely comfortable and memorable. Those little personal touches make all the difference. We were sorry not to be staying longer.
Location
An overnight stop only so only managed to walk through the town and up to the castle which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Comfortable room, handy location (walking distance to restaurants), great breakfast, friendly service.
Location
We stayed in Stirling to visit Stirling Castle & Bannockburn. Handy for both.
Over breakfast at Number 10 we were told about Falkirk Wheel, which was worth including in our local visits as well.

My daughter and I stayed at Number 10 for one night. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need. The owners were very friendly and gave us lots of advice on places to eat. The breakfast was superb. My daughter chose the continental and as well as pastries, yogurt, cheese and cold meat she had 10 different types of fruit on her plate.
Location
We only stayed for one night in order to visit the university so didn't do any sight seeing. Number 10 was very conveniently located for the city though being about a 5 minute walk from the centre.

The accommodation is short of nothing. The hosts, Carol and Donald, went out of their way to please from arrival to departure. Breakfast was a joy.
Location
Stirling Castle and the guided tour is not to be missed.
